We had a very successful Book Week with something for everyone. Liz Weir story teller/puppeteer entertained and encouraged the children to read, with her great stories and fun puppets. The annual grandparents morning tea was well attended and everyone enjoyed the librarians' play about Goldilocks and the three bears (sort of) The Big Book Swop gave our students the opportunity to swop 3 of their books for 3 of someone else's, everyone, pretty much, went home happy with their choices. The Year 6 literature quiz this year was very competitive, but Room 20 squeaked in with the most correct answers. Below are some photos of our events. "These iphone, ipad and Android apps wont leave you with a big bill, but will provide stimulating education, creativity and entertainment for the children" Advance notice of Book Week 1-5 July 2013.
